Our Story
JP's Cutting Edge is a locally owned and operated landscaping and lawn care company. We provide quality residential and commercial landscaping and lawn care services in Clifton Park, Halfmoon, and Malta at a reasonable price.
Our owner, Jeff Paulsen, started the company 11 years ago and we've been growing ever since. We believe that developing personal relationships with our customers is the best way to build a successful company, and it shows! Our teams are professional, courteous, and reliable.
Best of all, regardless of the size, each property is handled with great care and attention to detail. When quality and service matter, JP's Cutting Edge is the one to call.
JEFF & NICK
Jeff Paulsen has always known he wanted to own his own business. He started when he was just 14 years old maintaining his parent's and grandparent's yards. One by one, he began to pick up more homes in the surrounding area and after a few summers he had created a full service landscaping company - JP's Cutting Edge. When he manages to find some free time, he loves to ski, hike, camp, and basically anything outdoors!
Nick Marshall, our CFO, is the one behind the scenes who keeps everything running smoothly. He started working at JP's Cutting Edge as summer help while attending college at SUNY Adirondack and Siena College. After graduating with an accounting degree, he came back full time. Now, he oversees all our finances and operations. He's also an outdoor guy when there's free time and can be found on the lake, traveling, and hanging out with his family.
MEET MILO
People are always asking us about Milo! Whether he's sitting in the truck or running around the office chasing a ball, he's our best boy and a crowd favorite. Here are some fun facts about the pup everyone wants to meet.
Milo is a 7-year-old Dalmatian.
He loves playing fetch and being outside.
Tennis balls are his favorite toy - he's gone through many of them!
Swimming isn't his favorite thing, but he loves going out on the lake.
He couldn't possibly get enough belly rubs.
When he isn't outside playing, he loves being pampered with a good bath and lots of snuggles!
